Neonatal care nursing primarily aimed to reduce infant mortality rate (IMR) & neonatal mortality rate (NMR) and designed to develop specially trained neonatal nurses. It covers the specialized newborn care facilities, special care nurseries and neonatal intensive care units [NICU’s] as our country is on the threshold of a neonatal survival revolution.
